howdy! i guess i'm the new kid in town, or something like that...

anyways, i'm rift, and after a long bout of contemplation (that lasted all of one night) i decided to add to your impressive persona cast. this is he of many names, who i've opted to go with yu narukami this time around ugh i can already foresee myself slipping up since i'm so used to referring to him as souji.

he'll be post true route, though as a slight caveat he'll be being played from the not-quite-yet released psp port of persona 4... persona 4: the golden. it really shouldn't make any difference for the time being unless other characters unique to the port ever show or cannon update (is that a thing that can happen? canon update sideways?), but i thought i'd just throw that out there in case he ever references a spring ski trip that never happened or something like that.

anyways, it's nice to meet you all, and i look forward to playing with you! i'm not sure how to make this any more interesting but if you ever need to get in contact with me my plurk is right this way: shadowrift.

This time I bring you the titular character character from the amazing, beautiful, glorious, heart breaking, scenery porn giving PS2 epic ICO. For those of you who know the game, flail with me on it's epicness. For those that don't, a little backstory:

Ico is a thirteen year old boy "cursed" with bulls horns on his head, fated to be sacrificed because of this. He manages to skirt fate by finding a strange young girl locked in a castle and the most epic tale of boy meets girl ensues.



Seriously, it's this gorgeous.

ANYWAY Ico is going to be a little skittish at first. Brave as he may be, a city like Vatheon is far beyond anything his primitive little village is capable of, not to mention events in canon have made him a bit more likely to jump first, ask questions later. So don't be surprised if he swings a sword twice his height at your characters in fright or even runs away.

ALSO an announcement. I will be gone from the 30th to the 5th for Kumoricon in Vancouver, WA with roomies and boyfriend, so while I will likely have internet I will be busy spending time with him and doing con things. Ico will be on autopilot, probably hobo-ing up in the park, but everyone else will be Sleep Coma'd. Rin and Hubert are fair game for pranks, but Ioder will be still hiding in his house and it's likely Estelle would protect him from any trickery anyway.

Hi, bubble! I bring to you another Tales character (we're plotting a possibly-hostile takeover of all of Vatheon, you see) and my first female, this time from Tales of Symphonia. The bane of one Zelos Wilder's physical well-being, this is Sheena Fujibayashi--clumsy (former) assassin and master summoner. She's an idealistic and earnest young woman with a few self-esteem issues and bounts of self-doubt (complete with the obligatory side of traumatic past incident), but she's getting better! Eh-heh. ;; She hails from a hidden ninja village and serves as the Tethe'allan emissary of peace to the country of Sylvarant, back home, and is going to have less than the slightest idea what to do here at Vatheon. And I hope I do her justice asdjfk

One little OOC request! Due to plots discussed between Reiko and myself, we're setting it up so that Sheena and Zelos won't be running into each other until the masquerade event! This includes knowing the other is even in the bubble. It'd be awesome if anyone she runs into can manage avoiding revealing anything about that, on the off chance it even crosses their minds? :D?

My name's Nik, and tonight I'm throwing one Guy Cecil from Tales of the Abyss back into the bubble. He's been gone for a little while due to some complicated things IRL... but hey, he's returning with a shiny new canon update and all the trimmings still attached, including all his previous Vatheon memories. Glee!

For those not familiar with the canon: meet the protagonist's best friend! Guardian, swordsman, Mr. Mom, manservant, wannabe bartender and lover of fonic technology, with a traumatic past and an excellent little habit of lying through his teeth like an absolute champ. He's a hard worker from his head to his toes, generally charming, and always up for conversation and figuring people out - don't be surprised if he asks questions or explains a lot. It's a habit. He blames Jade.

Aaaand he's also got this wonderfully gut-wrenching fear of ladies. Look, don't touch, and he'll gladly return the favor because wow aren't you awfully pretty for being so terrifying.
