Pro(s): I'm feeling a little better with Cheria's characterization? That's totally a pro, right. Additional pro, I'm really happy with how my characters are branching out beyond their respective canons.

Con(s): I AM RIDICULOUSLY SLOW. Mostly due to RL. I will backtag into eternity. Also, Despite being mostly confident in the characterizations of my characters, there are little things about each one of them that I know I really need to work on ... I'm feeling better about Cheria, for instance, but I know there is still a lot I need to work on for her as far as her voice is concerned. There are things concerning Kohaku and Estelle I feel I could work on as well.

Negitive: I wish I knew what happened to my speed |'D I would love some advice on that, at the very least, if anyone has any.

RE: improving tagging speed:

1) Figure out what you think is a satisfactory tagging speed. Give hard numbers, like at least once every 2 days, or within an hour of receiving a tag. For me, I'm happy if I can return someone's tag once a day, but you might hold yourself to a different standard than that. It's good to work this out so you don't always think "Argh I'm so slow!!" even when you've actually been quick.

2) Set yourself a time limit for cranking out tags, and have something to indicate when time's up. I used to use a one hour alarm, and now I use a 50 minute soundtrack specifically for tagging. The time limit forces you to be faster with tags so you don't agonise over them for an unnecessarily long length of time. You don't need to get all your tags done, but you'll likely get more done. I prefer a soundtrack over an alarm since the current song gives me a good idea of how much time I have left.

3) Remove other distractions. Shut off Plurk, Skype, AIM, etc. I don't think I need to say why |3b

Pro: He's really branching out and making some friends. I'm also really pleased at the feedback about him using Troll jargon. People seem to like it, and I love that he's developed so much from his experiences here in Vatheon.

Con: He cries. A lot. I feel like this is a problem but also he's still technically only a year or so old so... I don't know.

As far as Zelos' friendships go:

Are friendships ever an obvious journey to begin with? :P
But no, if you're worried about it being OOC, just look over things from a broader perspective. What kind of interactions has he had with other men, and is what Zelos defining as a "friend" in the Lloyd category or just something else entirely? Is he struggling? Is it for appearances? Does he need to be a little more flippant about things simply because of the new reality of having male acquaintances?

I'm rusty on Symphonia canon so I can't really offer a "HERE GO FIX THIS" line of thought or whatever. Just, if you're worried, dig around a little. Zelos is a complex character anyways, and just coming from one of those male CR peeps, he's still pretty aloof and avoidant and awkward sometimes. So it's not like he's suddenly attached to the hip with other men (I'd be really concerned about OOC matters in that case).

IDK, give yourself a little more credit, and do some fine-tuning if it really does bother you. Make it an exercise in exploring Zelos more, rather than "FUCK I'M DOING IT WRONG". :)

My pro is an awesome pro: I have been taught how to organize my notifications for tags, so I'm getting better about responding to all of them at the same time, rather than letting a few get lost in the abyss.
