It's nearing that time of year, Vatheon! Some of the characters are into it, and some of them are not. Regardless, for all of those who've thought of gifts to give to their character's CR, this post is your place!

Post here with a list of what your character is getting for others on Christmas Day! Feel free to leave any notes in your lists.

Zelda: A collection of as many maps as he can find, from multiple different worlds and multiple different Nostalgia Nook stores. There's one of Hyrule, too. There's a note aaccompanying it saying, "even if we cant leave yet this way u can lern about lots of other places!!"

Sola: A collection of sheet music suitable for an ocarina, carefully bound together and with a drawing of said ocarina on the cover. There's also a basket of cookies (homemade, chocolate chip) and candy (from a store). There's a note accompanying it saying, "i hope you like the music its for ur ocarina enjoy!!"

Lloyd: A wooden carving of a dog - sorry, it doesn't look much like Noishe at all - painted green. There's a note accompanying it saying, "in case noshy dosnt come back u can have this!!"

Bianca: A rather large plush horse, standing about two feet tall. There's a note accompanying it saying, "its not a pokemon but its from my world i hope u like it!!"

Other people, past and present, at Ordo 2-3: Basically meaning Zelos, Duke, and Guy (when he's over), plus Dhaos (who Link goes out to find). An assorted collection of homemade cookies of a few different types. These ones aren't even burnt!

Other CR: If you've spoken to Link and got on reasonably well (and he knows where you live), you'll get a small basket filled with candy (store bought, probably thankfully).

Dualscar has never really been into gift-giving, but this year he's going to do his best. Each present is wrapped clumsily with purple and gold paper, and has a card on it, which he has signed with his name, but no accompanying message other than those mentioned below.

Signless: Will receive a heated electric blanket, a book of dessert recipes, and a purple shark plushie. Also two necklaces, each with a diamond-shaped gold pendant, studded with a single deep purple amethyst, and a single ruby. He is hoping that, essentially, Signless will keep one, and give Dualscar the other one.

Eridan: Will receive a historical account of Dualscar's exploits. Dualscar has annotated it with his own commentary, adding additional information and thoughts that didn't make it into the book.

Feferi: A gold and amethyst bracelet. The aquarius symbols are subtle, worked into the joinings between the amethysts, which are so pale that they look closer to Feferi's tyrian colour than Dualscar's, and accompanied by a note "From your most devvoted friend."

Mindfang: A poisoned dagger, with a gold-and-amethyst wavy pattern on the hilt.

Darkleer: A book filled with historical accounts of the most important of Archeradicator victories.

Summoner: A large bottle of rum.

Psiioniic: A bottle of honey mead, and a note: "To be shared."

Jade Curtiss: A book on troll biology, which happens to include a large chapter on reproduction.

Disciple: A bottle of fresh milk, laced with large quantities of rum.

Feferi: A red and blue scarf with little fish-shaped bobbles on the tassles.

Eridan: A collar, fitted to Eridan's size, with a garish yellow gemini symbol on it.

Psiioniic: A captchalogue card containing a logic puzzle, shrouded in many layers of security and encryption. Essentially each level of encryption contains a puzzle to solve, which provides certain clues making it possible to unlock the next level. At the centre is a big bee plushie, with Sollux' name on it.

Summoner: One shittily lettered card, illustrated in garish red and blue diamonds. Inside is a hand-made coupon for "g00d f0r tw0 (2) pale cuddling 2e22i0n2 t0 be ca2hed in at any time."

Karkat: A book "Beenary for dumbies", which Sollux has annotated with additional tips and tricks here and there.

All of the kid trolls (including the ones already mentioned), Signless, Psiioniic, Darkleer, Summoner, and Dirk: A usb stick with a new app to include on their SFC, which allows all of them to play an MMORPG that Sollux designed himself, mostly involving silly quests, puns, and stupid jokes. Think a troll Kingdom of Loathing, complete with shitty graphics.

John - Some classic Alternian action movies.
Rose - An Alternian romance novel. A note tucked inside the cover says to consider it a sort of peace offering with the condition that she must be less of a pain in the ass to him in return.
Jade - A white dog plushie. It's not a perfect match for Becquerel, but he tried to get something that at least had the same sort of build and shape. "I thought it might remind you of your lusus," explains a note. Also, a book on astrology - but for the troll universe. She's the Witch of Space, right?

Jane - A few days later, the book she gave him is returned. Other insults are now highlighted (obviously addressed at her), some with colorful additions wedged in, others written in entirely.
Roxy - What was originally a generic illustrated book on cats is now, through alchemization with one of Eridan's wizard statues, a nonsense book on WIZARD CATS. You're welcome.
Dirk - A couple days late, an ugly horse sweater. Just look at this majestic beast. It might also be too large. "I owed you for the headphones, but you're still a sack of horse farts. Now you can look the part."

Sollux - A book on the history of human programming languages. There is a note tucked under the cover: "I have no clue what you have or haven't looked into or which languages you would actually care about, so I got you this. You're a big enough nerd that you should enjoy it, and it might give you things to look into."
Nepeta - A combination lion hat/scarf. The paws have pockets to put her hands in for warmth.
Kanaya - A pair of moth earrings. A note says, "Hopefully these aren't some awful mistake of fashion that I in my ignorance have foisted onto you. In case they are or your ears aren't pierced, I got you some flower seeds, too." And indeed, there's a selection of different seed packets, chosen at random and without theme.
Terezi - A book on dragons and their variations across different earth cultures, and the biggest box of chalk he could find.
Equius - Remember how on that date they had Karkat defaced a bunch of pictures of famous human art? For Christmas, Karkat has gotten him an actual painting of horses, and defaced it beyond recognition. Insults (directed at Equius) have been scrawled across it in permanent marker, additional stains have been applied with condiments, drinks, and so on, and the canvas has been scratched, pieced, and even sliced in spots.
Gamzee - This thing, with a very emphatic note to have Equius set it up for him so it doesn't wind up broken or not working. Also, some goat-shaped sugar cookies (frosted, with purple sprinkles), and the goat cookie cutter her used to make them. It's yours now, Gamzee.
Eridan - A ship in a bottle, but not just any ship! Karkat has found a good quality one locally and alchemized it together with a book on Alternian ships and a picture of Eridan. He would get an explanation that the goal was to create something that looked like his old hive (he can't tell if he succeeded or not), but failing that, it is at least an Alternian ship in a bottle with a little Eridan figure perched on deck. Also a ring. Nothing as fancy as engagement, but to give him something with his symbol on it.
Feferi - A note telling her, "Thanks for not killing Eridan." Nothing more.

Signless - A few pairs of jeans which (gasp) have normal waist heights, and a note that the Disciple's gift is for him, too.
Psiioniic - A cookbook for recipes involving honey. Many are predictably desserts, but there are other dishes too.
Disciple - A nice, sizeable picture frame, and a certificate for a local photography place, with instructions to get a portrait with Signless to fill it.
Redglare - A couple books on human legal systems. A note states he knows next to nothing about them, but thought they would interest her.

Amaterasu - A mixed selection of gourmet dog treats and high quality teas. (He asked some locals for advice, since while he likes tea, he's not a connosieur, and would have no clue about the treats.)
Mrs. Brisby - A cheese sampler. He tried to get one of the smaller ones while still keeping variety in the cheese; it's obvious she won't ever be able to eat it all, but he doesn't want to overwhelm her too much.
Maka - A good quality scythe of simple make, notably without any insanity-causing components in it. "Sorry the other one caused such a mess. This one should be fine if you ever find yourself in need of one."
Death the Kid - A book containing legends, speculation, and supposed historical incidents concerning the Handmaid, servant of the trolls' cultural death figure. A note explains that he's unsure how accurate they all are, since the Handmaid herself isn't here, and also recommends against pestering her about it if she ever shows up again.
Demyx - A few CDs of Alternian music, covering different styles since Karkat isn't sure what he'd like.
Rainbow Dash - A documentary on stunt flying/"aerobatics", and an offer to help her play it if need be, because how do things even work with hooves.
Radical Edward - A brief thank you note for not junking his SFC over the virus thing, and a book on ~ATH.

Please imagine all these things where just whimsically delivered in the days leading up to christmas, christmas day itself and the few days after christmas. Why? Cause what are dates, man.



Karkat - Thresh prince shirt, clearly the kind of lounging around the house and watching movie marathons in; Troll Will Smith - Big Willie style (cd), & Trolls In Black (movie). And with that, in a small little box, a no frills silver chain with a equally no frills silver capricorn sign on it, a small card accompanying it: 'YoU AiN'T GoTtA WeAr iT Or nOtHiNg iF YoU DoN'T WaNnA, bUt i'm wEaRiN ThE OtHeR.

Nepeta - It is like three sizes too big, so could probably use it as jammies or something??? & batch of cupcakes with kitty faces on them. With double mouths, of course!

Kanaya - he thought it was a good choice???? & a batch of flower shaped cupcakes.

Terezi - a whole pile of cartons of chalk & a few red velvet cupcakes.

Equius - A towel, a book full of pony pictures, and also at one point another downed vial of magic drink for a good make-out session

Eridan - One very well picked book on a subject Eridan is sure to enjoy. Inside there is an enveloppe with a single note: 'AiGhT, gOnNa mOtHeRfUcKiN LeVeL ThIs wItH YoU BrO. kArKaT AlL Up aNd hElPeD Me pIcK ThIs mOtHeRfUcKiN' tHaNg. Mrs Brisby - A red polkadotted tea set, created tinified via the alchemitizer, so it is the right size for her to use. Also the cups and tea pot are stuffed full of various nuts. He remembered what micies like.

Tifa - A batch of cupcakes! He tried to make them look like chocobos with, uh, varying levels of success.

Zelda - A bracelet made out of sea-shells that he put together himself.

Shirley: Aquamarine pendant with matching bracelet. Note attached to the box says, "For you, my lovely maiden. May you enjoy them."

Walter, Kratos, and Yuan: Pet rock and a book for each of them. A note attached to each of their boxes says, "I thought of you when I found these, hope you enjoy them."

Host Club + Everyone Else: If you've spoken to Angelo once or so, you get a random landscape painting (of various places in Vatheon) and a small box of Raspberry Cream Tarts. The host club members all get boxes of the tarts in their respected areas too.

Wow this took me way too long.

I may comment on a few voice mails for these, but even if I don't, you can just assume Yukari delivered these to your character's doorstep! They all come with little notes, though I didn't write out word for word what each of them say. If you'd like any specifics, just comment here!



- The Embryon: home made cookies, which she most likely slaved over for a while before she got them to look & taste right. There are special ones shaped like the water crown, rainbow arch, and fire ball for Serph, Cielo and Heat respectively, but the others are more generic in shape, and can be shared. All have dashes of orange frosting on them, though some have more than others.

- Maka: An orange journal with a red heart that matches Yukari's pink one. Also comes with a few of these, which Yukari folded & made herself in a few various colors!

- Junpei: A necklace with a sword charm with a color scheme that kind of reminded her of Chidori; so maybe it can do the same for him. It also reminds her of the two handed swords he used to use in Tartarus (and the Abyss of Time, even if he doesn't remember that).

- Gamzee: An adorable winter hat with a ladybug design. It seems to be arranged perfectly so that the holes needed for his horns fall exactly on the ladybug's spots!

- Mat: A bracelet with a bow & arrow charm on it. By now, she's probably already said thank you for the help with making her bow, but she never did feel like she got to pay him back or anything.

- Lloyd: A boat necklace. Just a friendly reminder that she still hasn't forgotten, and that she'd still like to go sailing someday. C:

- Tiir: A Garula Gem from Paulownia Express, in the Nostalgia Nook. It unfortunately can only be used once, but it releases moderate wind magic, and Tiir can use it on himself if he ever needs a recharge.

- Selphie: A wallet shaped like a cake slice. Food CR is best CR!

- Italy: A jar of squid ink, to make pasta with! Maybe they can try it together?

- Colette: A dog collar for Caramel, as well as an assortment of cute band-aids she can use if she ever scrapes or hurts herself.

- Kohaku & Shing: Matching bracelets. One for both of you. She knows it's a little corny, but she hopes you like them anyway; and the heart is a locket that can open up so you can each put something inside.

Jane - How do you feel about a mustache neckwarmer? Along with this is, of course, a tacky sweater.

Jake - An axe, for one, because while shooting down a tree is hilarious it's probably going to give someone a heart attack someday. And a tacky sweater!

John - A note that says he will get his second gift at lunch and a garishly tacky sweater in neon green colors. His second gift is a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich. Made with a peanutbutter substitute she spent a while trying to alchemitize for him. She thinks she got the taste right.

Jade - A junior scientist kit and a tacky sweater.

Dave - The tackiest of fucking sweaters. This thing has a Christmas tree smack dab in the middle of all its other mismatched christmas decorations, and the tree is decorated by led lights that, yes, light up. It has bells attached here and there, so he jingles, as well as gaudy gold baubles for decorations. He even has a small present box or two attached to the shirt under the tree. There's a note that says if he gets it dirty, she'll kill him.

Dirk - A knit smuppet and a tacky christmas sweater with smuppets all over it. Christmas smuppets. Meaning look at those little santa and reindeer ones and...is that rudolph? Why yes. Yes it is.

Roxy - A knit cat plush, a notebook of wizard stories that she wrote and approve of enough to share, and a tacky christmas sweater with cats all over it. Christmas cats.

Maka - Two little knit soul plushes (they look similar to Soul and Maka's, but only similar) and a very tacky christmas sweater.

Kid - A tacky but symmetrical Christmas sweater.

Soul - A very tacky Christmas sweater and some piano sheet music of jazz pieces from her world.

Rin - Breakfast in bed because he cooks a lot and she doesn't know if anyone cooks for him. Not that it's......spectacular. It's french toast with all the fixings, some slightly over-crispy hash browns and a glass of milk. He is also getting a tacky as hell sweater.

All the trolls are getting horn cozies. Except for Karkat, who is getting a crab hat that has two strange little lumps oh that's what they're for. They're built in horn cozies. Gamzee's are covered in little baubles and sequins and...is that glitter? That might be glitter. Note that they are only vaguely shaped like the horns, to avoid getting stuck on any down turned ones (Kanaya and Vriska) or awkwardly shaped ones (Vriska) and all have little ties on the bottom to tighten them around the horn and keep them in place.

Kanaya - This outfit. The sweater dress and leg warmers are hand knit and in a jade color, the rest purchased and black.

Karkat - A really, really tacky sweater with cats all over it. He's also getting a gift from some anonymous donator, which is a small (pocket sized) notebook filled with badfic styled fiction written about a troll and all his ~romantic exploits~ that just borderline scandalous. Yeah, she wants to get your goat, Karkat. She was careful not to write in her recognizable handwriting.

Disciple - A kitty hood just like Nepeta’s so they can match, as well as lots of toys for her to play with with the kittens. Also a framed drawing of the holy bros with Nepeta lying in their laps for a snuggle.
Darkleer - HIS WORKSHOP NICELY DECORATED WITH THE GLOW IN THE DARK PAINTS HE GAVE HER. Also a framed photograph of him on the sofa with Gamzee and Equius fast asleep against either side of him. She took it sneakily one day. Finally a handdrawn card, with Darkleer on the front holding one end of a long, long scarf that winds all the way inside and ends in a pile of yarn, Nepeta sticking out of it holding a sign saying “To the best Dadleer efur!”
Signless - A brand new cloak, warmly lined and a bit oversized (so that there will be room for cuddling kittytrolls inside of it) and a framed drawing of him, Psii, Disciple and Nepeta all together like the one she gave Disciple.
Summoner - A fairybull plushie and gigantic horn cosies to stop them from freezing on him in the winter.
Psiioniic - A drawing of the first tea party they had together, Pounce plushie and all, and a hamper full of ingredients for him for many a happy hour spent baking. He also gets the same framed drawing she gave Di and Signless.
Dualscar - A large fluffy purple scarf

Equius - A badly knitted sweatervest with “No 1 Meowrail!” on it, and a scrapbook full of the pony and kitten pictures they’d sent each other since before they became moirails. The very last page is a picture of the two of them hugging in the middle of an enormous pink diamond
Tavros - A box of tinsel and fairylights to decorate his horns! He gets his real gift on Christmas morning, though. A handmade book, titled “The Adventures of Tavros and Nepeta”, with drawings of all their memorable moments together on the island, with the last drawn page a picture of Tavros and Nepeta sitting beneath their Christmas tree sharing a hug over their gifts. There are still plenty of empty pages which she intends to fill as time goes by!
Gamzee - A high-quality set of paints, and a drawing of him and her in the middle of one of their games in a frame saying “Thank you fur being my friend”
Karkat - A mug saying “World’s Best Brother” and a knitted scarf striped in grey, indigo, purple and blue
Kanaya - A pretty jade hair ornament
Sollux - A bee patterned scarf and hat, with holes in it for his horns. She tried, okay >.>

I WAS HOPING TO WRIGGLE OUT OF GIFT GIVING SINCE BOTH OF MINE DIDN'T KNOW ABOUT CHRISTMAS BUT SOMEONE TOLD SERPH ABOUT IT SO HERE IS HIS LIST. Serph will be personally giving all these gifts on the day.

People living in the Embryon Base

Argilla - A pink camera. Serph will explain that it's a device that can capture moments in time and print them out. There's a couple of photos on there already, mostly of the island, where he was trying it out.
Cielo - Three hula hoops. Serph will explain that one of the games that can be played with them is to try and keep them spinning using the body. Usually people begin with the waist, but it's up to Cielo to find all the other variations and games you can play with the hoops.
Gale - A smartboard aka interactive whiteboard. It's the closest thing to the holographic table in the old war room he could get without dragging out one of the more techy people to make something (overly) cool for them. How Serph got it installed into the base NO ONE KNOWS.
Heat - A set of medicine balls. If Heat asks why the hell Serph got him a bunch of balls, he'll answer, "Didn't you want to use something heavier?"
Sera - A painting of a dog that looks like Chibiterasu, except with blue markings and playing with water bubbles, courtesy of Angelo. A little reminder of the time when she was a water god puppy.
Tiir - Balls of yarn, knitting needles and a book of knitting basics. Tiir also gets an orange rose in a vase. Serph will explain the significance of the colour and basically go, even if you do not choose to wear the colour YOU ARE ONE OF US one of us one of us.

Johnny - An orange rose in a vase. Johnny will be told, "We are here for you, no matter what you face." And. Possibly ask what the orange thing Johnny gave him is because it looks like underwear but it doesn't cover anything at all...

Anyone who he considers a friend or acquaintance will get a box of baked goodies, as well as anyone he has greeted within the past two months (because he doesn't want anyone to feel left out). If you think you might be included, then assume you have been! XD There are a handful of exceptions who will get something else, however:


Motochika - Apart from the super secret poetry-related gift (ahem), there is this ring. The note attached to it says 'I was told it is traditional in many cultures to give your betrothed a ring. The idea of a ring symbolising eternity is certainly appealing, and so, here you are. It was difficult to find the perfect one, but I hope this appeals to you, Motochika. All my love.'

Gracia - A koto, beautifully made with decorative inlay that depicts many different kinds of flowers, most prominently bellflowers. The note attached says 'For you, my dear, is something new to learn about; perhaps we can all play together, one day?' There is also this bracelet.

Kohaku - This necklace. There is also a light red kimono embroidered with fine floral patterns. The note says 'You have been a sister to me, and I will forever be grateful. Thank you.'

Chibiterasu & Amaterasu - You two are getting baked goods as well, except... a much larger box each, plus a huge cake for both decorated with the image of the sun. There's no note with this one; he's a bit nervous about giving it. 8'D

Darkleer- Small basket of Baked goods. The cookies are quite... suggestive, and a certain rusty orange color.

Nepeta- A winter clothing set made by Kanaya, made from furs that Disciple obtained. It is similar to the larger set Disciple has.

Darkleer- A box of 'Robot dog food' As is written on the side of the box. Inside it is full of nuts, bolts, and batteries. Also a box of Piyokos, a sort of chocolate cake thing in the shape of a baby chicken.

Washu- A lot lof little crab toys!

Karkat- A thumbdrive left on his doorstep. Says "For: Mr. Grumpy-Bumps". If he dares to check out the thumbdrive, inside is an complex, powerful encryption program and instructions to use it... well, mostly.

Grand Highblood- A box completely full of yo-yo's, also a really large, sturdy comb. Both left outside his cave for him to find.

Sollux- A red cape, That says 'Double Hero" in blue letters, on the back.

The Doctor- Large book of stories from Earth, after the gate-disaster. Also a box of Piyokos, a sort of chocolate cake thing in the shape of a baby chicken.

Selphie- Socks! Also a box of Piyokos, a sort of chocolate cake thing in the shape of a baby chicken.

Jade- A small music box modified to play a certain quirky song.

Tifa- A whole bunch of mermaid tails!

Gracia will be giving out holiday cards with a picture of her and her pets Feng Huang the blue chocobo, Futon the Golden Retriever, and Firelight the horse to most of her acquaintances and friends :) Also, attached to the card is a cookie from the one and only successful batch she's made the whole season. AREN'T YOU GUYS PROUD. ♥ The messages are more or less personalized, so anyone who's spoken to her on a regular basis will get this! :D

As for the super special awesome presents...

Daddy Mitsuhide: Gracia wrapped up a lovely gift box for Father dearest! Inside, he will find a brand new calligraphy brush set, two new yukata's for the honeymoon lmao, and a specially made chirimen bear with a wooden tag that has "Fortune, Love, Happiness" written on it. In kanji, of course. She wrote it herself too! ;)

Daddy Motochika: He has a box filled with presents too! In his, Motochika will find his own chirimen bear (the wooden tag writes, "Loyalty, Spirit, Song" instead!), two new scarves for all seasons, and a special mink coat to complete the outfit! Also, because Gracia is fond of showing Motochika her latest attempts at creativity, tucked inside the folds of the scarves is a scroll that has a mediocre quality drawing (but it has a lot of effort put into it! and it might look better than the last artwork she did for him...) of random things and people, her family of three included.

Kohaku: She'll be receiving this lovely dress and this super cute stuffed toy! The tag wrapped around the collar reads, "If I'm not around when you need a pal, hug him to feel better! (When I saw it, it reminded me of you somewhat as well!)" Also, have a box of cupcakes that Gracia did not make, because she hasn't leveled up to making cupcakes yet, ahaha. She had them spell out HAKU on the icing, though!

Gale: This t-shirt and this hoodie! Inside the gift box, Gracia included a very special something as well. She's not quite sure if he has any keys to keep, but if he had some, she hopes it'll come in handy! The note on the box reads, "Thank you for being there when I needed a friend to come to. Smile some more for me, okay? That must be a promise! P.S. You always mention "tribe colors." Did I choose the right ones?"

Selphie: WELCOME BACK BEST FRIEND akldfjslkd, Selphie will find this lovely pair of shorts and matching shoes to go with it, as well as a well-framed photograph of Gracia and Selphie back in the day :') The back of the photograph has a short message for her, and it reads, "I hope this helps jog your memory, Sel. I'm so glad you've returned! I'll always be here for you, no matter what! Don't forget THAT, alright? - Gracia" ♥ And of course, a miniature stuffed animal to keep her company on those lonely nights :)

Shirley: A set of headbands, a box of new gloves for the cold weather, and one medium-sized plush toy! There's also a short letter of gratitude written on a nice card tucked inside the box. It reads, "Thank you for holding my hand when I thought I was all alone. You're a wonderful friend, I'm very glad to have met you!"

Hayner: THE REST OF HER SUCCESSFUL BATCH OF COOKIES, oh my gosh look she can do it, she can bake. They're sloppily decorated with colorful icing, but more or less taste normal. Not the best, but hey! They're edible and that's what counts! Also, Gracia included this vest and cargo shorts for him to wear! The letter that's inside his gift box reads something like a long-winded apology and thanks for always coming to her rescue when she brews up trouble in the kitchen, as well as a "I'll replace your towels one of these days! Come over again and maybe we can bake a pie this time? Oh that will be wonderful, I just know it!" :'D

Kenshin: A really swanky coat (but in white!) and hat to complete the look! Also, she got him a fancy teacup because this is her subtle way of saying ENOUGH OF THAT SAKE, MISTER. >:)
