HI ALL, it's Ten here, bringing in a second character :3

This time, I'm bringing Shulk from Xenoblade Chronicles. He's a really nice, standup guy who gets geek boners over technology and geography, happens to wield a magical laser sword of precognition, and occasionally goes on genocidal rampages. For those familiar with the game, Shulk's coming from the Mechon raid on Colony 9, right before the Mechon retreat. YEAH he's... going to kind of be arriving insanely pissed off.

Shulk also has the ability to see visions of characters' futures (which he has no control over), so if you'd like to plot something out regarding that, I'm more than happy to; he doesn't need to have met a character to have a vision of them. There's an information post regarding his visions HERE!

Future reading could still work in Vatheon since the coral's keeping Alister alive. Like, it doesn't even have to be something as major as "YOU ARE GOING TO DIE IF YOU GO THE BEACH". It can be as simple as "oh this guy will need this machine part tomorrow." :>b

He is trying to build an interdimensional hat device that would allow people to come and go as they please, but that's obviously going to fail miserably. Maybe Shulk could try to warn him of just how bad that's gonna go?

Sure! At this stage of canon he's still wondering what the deal is with the visions (so he won't have as much tact as he does later in the game), so this'll be great!

How bad is that going to go? :)c

I'm still kind of waffling on if it would even operate, to asking the mods about some really silly effects afflicting the city-folk. He's improvising on a lot of fronts, not to mention the first canon version of this device was built by a large group of his own species, rather than just one person.

Well I do kind of want to keep the visions "turned off" during Shulk's intro, mostly because he's arriving in a really bad state of mind. Just let me know when you figure out whether it'll work/how it'll work? Shulk doesn't have to see the specifics of how it'll go bad; he can just see that it'll go badly (like an explosion or something?).
