Yeah. You can use inspiration from other canons. I'm not sure about exact pulling from other canons if it is something that unique (like using the word "crafting").

Like you can find Superman's strength in a lot of different canons, but you can't really find air bending from Avatar in a lot of places. So you can say air manipulation or something like that, but it might be best to avoid anything super specific/special to the canon if that makes sense.
