☆ Plot - - -

Other than occasional weak flicker from the coral, the city seems to be calm.

The snow on the island is slowly melting from a blanket into thick patches on colder parts of the ground, revealing the ever-pleasant view of dead grass in its wake. Spring isn't quite here yet, the trees still barren and the ground still wet and muddy from the moisture of the snow. But the thick, foggy cloak of winter seems to be lifting for the time being. Just watch your step in the forests - don't go sinking too far into the mud!

It's still cool and crisp outside, and the wind is definitely kicking up. The waves coming in will be choppy and bitterly cold. The brave beachgoer may chase the surf and find shells and stones of foreign nature along the steepest parts of the coast, although anything that might have occupied them is long gone. Some are brittle and fall apart at the touch, while others feel like the could have weathered a war without breaking. Everything has an interesting iridescent quality, the stones impossibly smooth, and if one were to put their ear to a shell, you could swear you heard something singing a soft, melodic lullaby to you. Enjoy your simple treasures, but be quick about it - the power of the surf is harder to fight when it's barreling down on top of you.

If you're up for a polar dip in the icy ocean waters, then feel free. Watch out for rip tides, though. Who knows what you might catch (or what might catch you) if you tire out too far from the shore.

( As always, if there are any questions, comments or concerns, feel free to post below or contact Dees, Ten or Nik! )
