✗ The weather isn't the only thing sporadic this week— that's because curse 31 is upon us, and it's pretty inconvenient. In fact, the curse seems to be comprised of inconveniences itself— all throughout the week characters will be plagued by a lot of minor inconveniences that just don't seem to stop. It is up to the players to decide what most of these inconveniences will be, but there are a few specific ones that will happen every two days regardless: MONDAY ↪ On Monday there will be a mass power outage within the bubble from 7-9PM. All the more inconvenient due to it being during the night— hope you're not out and about at this time! The SFCs will be unaffected, but everything else in the bubble that runs on power will be shut down during that time. No street lights, no elevator, no microwave for that instant dinner you were planning to have. Deal. WEDNESDAY ↪ For some reason, the magic that allows for everyone to understand each other regardless of original language is glitching. During conversations, you might notice that you're speaking an entirely different language against your will. This is a language glitch, so it isn't 100%— the glitch might happen for one conversation, then wear off for another. It is also possible for the glitch to completely babelfish a reply halfway through FRIDAY ↪ And now the SFCs are malfunctioning. Text colors and fonts, the ability to filter, and message options will all be victim to this. You might suddenly find that your messages are being sent in hot pink, or that a message you had privated to someone ended up in another person's inbox. If you encrypt something, it only has a 50% chance of staying that way. If you meant to post in voice, you might end up posting in video against your intentions. Half of your message is cut off or your message is jumbled up in all the wrong order? That will be happening too. Once again, you are allowed to freestyle your own minor inconveniences all throughout the week— little things, such as having a lightbulb blow out, losing your SFC, or tripping on a banana. The ones listed above are simply 3 mandatory ones that will happen regardless. |
