And then there was a drop.

Yeah, so this is really poorly timed and kind of out of left field for me, but... it's necessary.

Due to my current health and extended situations here in real life, I am not going to be able to put time into games like I really should for at least a couple months, if not longer. So, Guy is going home to watch his best friend transform into a man of merit and probably save the world a couple times along the way.

He'll be leaving behind a couple things for the top three tiers on his CR list.

Zelos: "I'll always hold you to that promise, you idiot. You had better not forget that.

And for the record?

It's not your fault."

The only thing that accompanies the note? A crystal drinking glass, with another smaller note tucked inside: "To replace the one I broke. Here's to your health."

Never mind that the actual club drinking glass was replaced a while ago. What Zelos does with it? That's his choice.

Zelda: "Keep that garden of yours beautiful, alright? And don't be afraid to let your pride break for the people you love.

Keep you head high, Your Highness."

Along with the note, tied in the corner with a familiar sky-blue cord, is a packet of gailardia seeds.

Luke: "I'm sorry.

Do what you can, and help those you know need it the most. Keep changing. Keep learning. Don't forget your promise.

And hey. Don't be so hard on yourself. You are you. The life you've lived, the memories you have and things you've experienced? They're yours and yours alone, regardless of how you were born. You may not see it, but you're always going to be Luke, and you're always going to have worth.

So explore... and enjoy the rest of that life of yours, alright?

I'll see you again someday. I promise."

Luke will find one more music box - the one that he'd given to Guy back home, the one that he'd stumbled upon when they were unpacking - sitting alone on the blonde's tinkering desk. For once, it's in complete working order, and if he were to examine it further... there is finally a disc to play on it.

Couldn't ask for a better home game to start out with on DW, guys. It's been a terrific 8 months, and I've had so much fun and learned a lot. I hope I can come back to play with you all again soon.
