GOOOOOOD EVENIN', VATHEON!

I'm here today to give you a heads up on a plot that will be happening before the end of the month! Those of us directly involved have decided that since this does involve characters who are social butterflies somehow have a lot of CR with people in the bubble, it would be an awesome idea to sorta let the masses know that this is happening.

So, who recalls seeing this lovely post here? For those who didn't read it (and it's still in-progress), here's a short explanation of what's going on there:

Vanitas (halfhearted) sets out to destroy everything that the recently vanished Ventus loves, and happens upon Roxas (coolerthansora) in the meantime. A fight breaks out between Vanitas and Roxas, and Rin Okumura (keepsthefire) gets involved when he sees innocent people at risk of being injured by Vanitas's attack, and gets pretty badly injured because of it. Riku (limitless_land) also gets involved. Roxas, Riku, and Rin are able to drive Vanitas away, but not without casualties.

After this log, Rin himself turns to Kohaku Hearts (spiria) and Shing Meteoryte (oursomalink) for healing and venting about the entire situation, before going off and being ... well, Rin, and doing something dumb like ohhhh idk, avoiding his girlfriend and roommate.

What Rin doesn't know is that Vanitas has followed Rin around, and has gotten an idea of who the people close to him are; thus, Vanitas is going to do what Vanitas does best and actually try to get to Rin by way of harming the people he cares about. This is going to result in another fight, and the deaths of Shing, Kohaku, and Vanitas.

Between all of us, we've been planning this out for quite a while, so most of the plans are pretty set by this point, and the final parts of the plot will be started within the next couple of days. However, we are aware of the impact that the events in general and the deaths of characters could have on the CR established in this place, and we wanted to not only give a heads up as to what's going to happen, but also get some input from aforementioned CR.

... Katsu's going to be pissed. Well okay he gets pissed when there's people dying in general but when Riku gets involved in things Katsu perks up more and so yeah.

He might stick his nose into this business if it's okay with people involved and we can figure out a way to get him in.

I'm okay with anyone else getting involved/sticking their nose in to the whole mess. As it is even if people don't know the actual cause of the ice cream shop getting destroyed, Rin will eventually have to come out and say "Yeah that was me, Roxas, and Riku dealing with Vanitas" after his friends are murdered.

And even BEFORE that chances are he's going to be tearing through the city on fire chasing after Vani, sooo...

I'd like to get Masaru involved in some capacity. It doesn't have to be meaningful; on the sidelines or helping out would be okay.

There will definitely be a need for helping out once it's all over and everyone's back.

Totally late with a totally serious question.

What's happening with the bodies? I'm not just asking this because of cannibal reasons. Where will the bodies of Shing, Kohaku and Vanitas be? Who is going to find them?

You mentioned that Roxas, Riku and Rin are able to drive Vanitas away, but not without casualties. Is one of the three Rs also dying, then?

None of the three R's are dying at this point Though Jeni says she wouldn't be opposed to Rin getting killed at a later time. 'Casualties' in the starting log for the plot means more in the way of injuries and destruction of public property.

As for the bodies, for Shing and Kohaku at least, I don't know if any of their close CR would be able to handle taking their bodies elsewhere, so they'll probably be taken in by the nurses. That's something that we would be open to discussing if there are any ideas? A least, I know I'm up to discussing what happens to Kohaku. I don't know what Pan has planned for Vanitas' body, If she's planned that out at all, and I think Moro and I kinda have the same ideas (or lack thereof) regarding Shing and Kohaku's bodies.

I see that the log with the dying starts in Shing and Kohaku's apartment. Would it be safe to assume the fight will be taken outside later?

If there aren't any plans for the bodies, Serph and Cielo can take them to the clinic under the pretence of eventually handing them off to the nurses. However, that means the bodies will also be eaten by them before they actually get to the nurses. If anyone objects to cannibalism, you can always fall back on the nurses taking the bodies first.
